In the Club Championship Andy Palmer won with 207 points from Alan Hillman (202) and Gordon Warner (201).

The Stour Championships at Iford and the pony fields proved a dismal affair with Mick Hurst needing a solitary bream of 5lb plus bits on float and maggot to win from Eddie Harrison, who took a single bream of 4lb 12oz and two bits for a total of 4lb 414oz.

Rookley Parks Isle of Wight's Spike has been banked for the second time in just over a week.

Just eight days ago Matt Raymond took Spike at 28lb 10oz to end his lengthy absence. This time it was the turn of junior Shaun Kingston, 14, to land the fish at 28lb 8oz, which is a junior Isle of Wight carp record.

The Rookley Park common carp record was also beaten when the venue produced its first ever twenty in the form of a 20lb 4oz fish to Wesley Karl.

Justin Rayment had four fish to 16lb 8oz in a day session from Rookley, while junior Nick Pocock bagged 20lb 1oz, 20lb 6oz and 21lb 5oz fish - and returned later in the week to take a new personal best with Dot at 24lb 4oz.
