IF JAMIE Cullum hadn't found fame as a jazz musician, he could easily have gone into the celebrity lookalike business.

For as well as being one of the hottest young talents of the live music circuit, singer-pianist Jamie bears an uncanny resemblance to Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio.

You can check out the resemblance for yourself - and treat yourself to a performance by Jamie and his trio - when the 23-year-old takes centre stage at the Concorde Club, Eastleigh, next month.

Signed by leading British jazz label Candid just a week after record boss Alan Bates first heard him play, Jamie's career rise has been nothing short of meteoric.

His debut album Pointless Nostalgic made it into The Times' top ten records of the year and self-composed songs such as Who Wants To Be a Pop Star and the album title track have received airplay across the UK and Europe.

Memorably described by one newspaper as "Sinatra in sneakers", Jamie has been likened to a host of musical greats, including Sinatra himself and Jamie's own role model, Harry Connick Jr.

You can see Jamie performing a mixture of jazz standards and self-penned tunes at the Concorde Club on Wednesday February 5.

Tickets cost £8 for members and £10 for guests. Box office: 023 8061 3989.
