Bishopstoke Players are offering a way to beat the January blues with a pantomime perfect for all the family.
Rather than a fairy tale brought to life, this amateur group are bringing a nursery rhyme to the stage with The Grand Old Duke of York, written by Norman Robbins.
Though it doesn't quite feature "10,000 men", there are plenty of characters to cheer, boo and hiss and the show promises to be suitable for everyone - from the young to the simply young at heart.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards supporting the National Children Homes charity for which Bishopstoke Players have been raising funds for more than 50 years. TB-B
Bishopstoke Memorial hall. Tuesday until Saturday January 25. Performance: 7.30pm. Tickets: from £4. Box office: 023 8061 4188 or on the door.
