A Winchester Chinese takeaway shop still can't open on Sundays, planners have ruled.
City councillors agreed to lift a condition preventing The Supreme, in Garbett Road, Winnall, opening on Bank Holidays but the Sunday ban stays until satisfactory noise insulation has been installed.
It's a partial victory for residents who had opposed the opening of the shop in December and who gathered a petition of 42 signatures against the application by owner, Rebecca Chan, to vary trading hours.
