Members of the Winchester Flower Arrangement Society spent a wintry afternoon dreaming of summer and the proliferation of flowers that it brings.
They watched a video of the seventh World Flower Show, "Floramondi", which took place in Glasgow last June.
Several members had visited the show to enjoy the spectacular floral displays and attend the demonstrations and so they were able to enjoy reliving the experience.
For others, it was a glimpse of the colour, exotica and professionalism that had been brought to the occasion by flower arrangers from all over the world. The next international event will take place in Japan - so they will have just a bit further to travel.
Members also looked at the video of their own "extravaganza" put on last May to celebrate their 50th anniversary, which brought back many happy memories.
The members' competition this month was entitled "See what I have found". It was won by a new club member, Margaret Dunning, followed closely by Kate Craig.
