BRAVE Hearts appeals officer Ron Bennett says he had a 'fabulous' time sleeping rough on Christmas Eve.
Ron camped out next to a spooky monument - to raise cash for charity.
Ron camped out with just a sleeping bag for protection next to Deadman's Plack in Harewood Forest near Andover which commemorates the murder of Ethelwood by King Edgar.
He said: "It was fabulous." He added: "It got a bit damp by 4.30am but it was fantastic."
He lit three candles on the monument itself and the re were clear skies and a full moon.
But despite these ideal conditions for spooky happenings, Ron passed a peaceful night.
So far he has raised £300 for Bravehearts' Child Appeal Fund from the sleep-out.
Ron enjoyed himself so much he is inviting people to challenge him to endure another charity escapade. Anyone with ideas can contact Ron on 01264 323238.
