MARKETING in a tough economic climate on a shoestring is the subject of a breakfast seminar in Fareham on January 29.
It is being held jointly by Havant-based marketing and PR agency Rowmark and the Portsmouth and South-East Hampshire Chamber of Commerce.
The seminar will tell business owners and managers how to get more out of their marketing budget by concentrating on using cost-effective tools like direct marketing and e-mail.
It will also look at how to get better results from advertising and direct marketing and how to use the media.
The speaker will be Pauline Rowson, managing director of Rowmark. She said: "Indicators are that 2003 is going to be a tough year. All too often the sales and marketing budgets are the first to be cut when this happens yet this is often business suicide as it is essential for businesses to continue to market aggressively to win customers in a narrowing market."
The seminar is being held at the Lysses House Hotel and Conference Centre.
