The Southampton influence in the Hampshire League division 2 is growing with Netley Central Sports already breathing down the necks of the leaders Laverstock.
They added to Broughton's problems at the other end of the table with a 2-0 win at Buckholt Road where Scott Rice converted a penalty then missed one.
Dave Ashley got the other goal for Netley.
