A SAINTS-MAD Hampshire couple have netted a £2.2m Lotto jackpot, it was revealed today.
Paul and Karen Richards are such big fans of Southampton that they even got married early this year at the Friends Provident St Mary's Stadium.
And one of the first things the couple, both 30, will buy with their winnings, is a Saints season ticket.
The pair matched all six numbers in Saturday's draw to win the £2,209,089 cash prize. The couple will today celebrate with a champagne reception at the Friends Provident St Mary's Stadium.
Paul and Karen, who live in Southampton and have two children, are now trying to decide what else to do with their millions. Electrician Paul has already handed his notice in, while Karen will give up her job as a learning support assistant at Christmas.
