Scott Wilkinson from Hampshire and his passenger Gary Burt are currently among the leading sidecar motocross combinations in the UK.
They are genuine British Championship contenders for 2003 and rated as a top 20 combination in the World Grand Prix series.
Yet they fear that lack of sponsorship will leave them at the starting gate.
Wilkinson and Burt are dedicated to their chosen sport and along with their back-up team of mechanics and pit crew spend many hours and thousands of pounds each season just to remain competitive.
The team hope to compete across Europe next season and promise good advertising opportunities for potential sponsors.
