Cottle and Austen Electric Circus, Southsea Common, Portsmouth

H Now in its 30th year, the Cottle and Austen Circus has left behind its modest beginnings in a flower show marquee, to become an all-singing, all-dancing,breathtaking spectacular.

With a heady mix of humour provided by the clowns, death-defying tricks and stunts courtesy of African acrobats The Kenya Boys as well as trapeze artists and contortionists, and singing provided by ringmaster Emma James, the Electric Circus will appeal to adults as well as children.

The acts are non-stop. As soon as your breath has been taken away by one act, the ring is alive again with singing and dancing. It is an amazing experience, incredibly lively and vibrant.

A fantastic way to spend one of the few remaining days of summer.
