TEST Valley Mayor Tony Gentle and his wife Rita were among those treated to an exhibition of competition entries demonstrating what golden oldies can achieve in golden jubilee year.
The competition was organised by Age Concern to highlight the skills of older people.
The entries were on display at the at The Bridge Community Centre in Bridge Street Andover from 28 to 31 May.
Entries were in four categories - paintings, crafts, cake-making and flower arranging.
Category winners: paintings, Joan Taylor; crafts, Betty Percey; Cakes, Brenda Swain; flower arranging, Sonia Few.
