ROMSEY's Chris Hook again showed his liking for the Isle of Man TT course with two decent performances in last week's annual festival of speed.
The former Manx Grand Prix winner rode his 400 Honda to 12th place in the Lightweight TT at an average speed of 102.48mph.
Hook took out the bigger 600 Honda for the Junior TT and finished 21st at 109.01mph. Race winner was Scot Jim Moodie aboard the V&M Yamaha who clocked 119.22.
Moodie rode for the Southampton-based Chrysalis race team last season and another ex Chrysalis man Jason Griffiths was in third place.
John McGuinness, who rode the Chrysalis DMAM to victory in 2000 Singles TT, took second place behind David Jefferies in the big Formula One event. Jefferies later won the Production TT and capped a great week by taking the Senior TT with a 127.29 lap record.
