ON May 23, the Daily Echo highlighted a situation where it was claimed overgrown grass on a recreation ground was forcing children from the Pilands Wood estate at Bursledon to play on the streets.
We would like to make it clear that the play park referred to was in Cunningham Gardens, opposite the estate, and that parish councillor Rodney Cummins is a representative of Hound Parish Council and not Bursledon Parish Council as stated.
