PETE Moore is expected to be unveiled today as new manager of Jewson Wessex League outfit Brockenhurst.

Brock have been having talks with the former Bashley co-boss following Paul Arnold's departure from Grigg Lane earlier this week.

It would be a case of turning full circle for Moore. He spent two years in charge of the Badgers back in the early Nineties before moving on to Bournemouth Poppies, Bashley, Downton and Poole Town.

Moore returned to Bashley in December, but he lasted only three months, having felt like "a spare part" in his managerial partnership with Barry Blankley.

He has had two meetings with the Brock committee this week and confirmed yesterday: "We've thrashed out a deal and both parties have gone away to think about it.

Everything's agreed in principle and it's in Brock's hands now. If what we've discussed is acceptable to them, then I would take the job."
