FORGET Pooh sticks, Shipton Bellinger residents, old and young, enjoyed the thrills and spills of racing bright yellow plastic ducks in the village bourne on Saturday.
It's an annual event, organised by the WI whose members have to get in at the deep end before the races to make sure the watery course is free of obstacles and rubbish.
Children also raced boats they had made themselves.
The money raised goes to the WI and Save the Children.
