High-ranking diplomats will be among the VIP guests at the official commissioning of the Southampton International Vehicle Terminal in the city's Eastern Docks later this month.
The ambassador of Sweden, Dr Mats Bergquist and the Norwegian ambassador, Mr Tarald Brautaset have been invited to open the multi-storey terminal, the first of its kind in a UK port.
Hosted by Bo Lerenius, group chief executive of Associated British Ports and Lauritz Andersen, regional European president of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines, the event will take place on Monday, April 29.
