THREE youngsters were winched to safety after they became stranded on mudflats at Hatherwood Point on the Isle of Wight.
The boys, one aged 12 and the other two aged 11, were rescued yesterday by the Needles Coastguard rescue helicopter.
They were taken to St Mary's Hospital on the Isle of Wight suffering from mild exposure.
