Esso (Fawley) filled their tank full of runs and went into over-drive, smashing a Hampshire League County Division 2 record 421-2 against Petersfield at Holbury.
Dave Streather hit a double century and Andy Parratt an undefeated 160 - his second century in the past three weeks - as Esso beat the 394-run record Ventnor posted off 45 overs last season.
Streather, who has recently returned from Malaysia where he played in the ICC Trophy, hit six sixes and 22 fours in his career-best 206, scored off 131 balls.
He shared a 279-run partnership with Parratt, who struck six sixes and 20 boundaries - his 160 coming off just 90 deliveries !
Petersfield, ironically two places higher than Esso in the CD2 table, were dismissed for 173.
Leading Division 2 pair Burridge and Tichborne Park both had their games washed out - Australian Jeff Henry (90) having piloted the Alresford club into a powerful 288-7 at Hambledon when the rains came.
A total of 35 of the 90 scheduled Hampshire League games last Saturday were either postponed or abandoned, among them the games involving leading Division 1 pair Ventnor and Hartley Wintney.
But Eastleigh & Otterbourne boosted their chances of survival with a Colin Day-inspired eight-wicket win over Bournemouth.
Cadnam continue to trail BAT Sports at the top of Division 3 - but they would surely have won a tenth game out of 11 but for heavy rain in Salisbury.
They skittled South Wilts III for a meagre 58, but then had to watch in frustration as the rain poured down.
As a token of consolation, BAT's match with Purbrook suffered a similar fate.
Bishop's Waltham's Division 4 promotion prospects took a jolt with an unexpected five-wicket defeat by lowly Portsmouth III.
Scott Jones made Locks Heath's selectors sit up after leaving him out of the 1st XI's abandoned Division 2 visit to Whitchurch.
Indeed, the entire Heathens senior side returned to Warsash Road In time to watch Jones crack a career-best 130 not out against high riding Easebourne.
