A FATHER is to go to Bosnia in an effort to find out the truth about his son's death in an army lorry.
Private Stuart Wilson died two days before his 21st birthday when the United Nations Army tanker he was driving plunged down a ravine.
An inquest recorded a verdict of accidental death. But his family in Lymington - who have won the support of their MP - claim vital questions about the crash have gone unanswered. They believe Stuart may have died a hero after steering a faulty truck away from an ambulance.
Investigations carried out following pressure from Stuart's father Ian have revealed several faults with the vehicle involved in the accident. These included inoperable brakes and gearbox problems.
