TWO non-executive directors have joined the North Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust after being appointed by Health Secretary Alan Milburn.
Maggy Wallace, of Kingsclere, is an international nursing consultant and professional development adviser. She is a registered nurse, teacher and librarian.
She has a wide range of experience in clinical nursing, teaching and policy making.
David Emmerson, of Alton, recently ended an appointment as chief executive of a national charity, a post he held for nine years, and is chairman of the Association of Residential Care, a position held for the last five years.
He is also on the board of two other national disability charities.
Mr Emmerson said: "I hope my background and general management experience will benefit North Hampshire Hospital and look forward in particular to helping with continuing efforts to satisfy the health and support needs of those with a disability."
Chairman Colin Davies added: "Both our new non-executive directors bring a wealth of local and health related experience.
"It is a privilege to welcome them to the board for the next four years."
