PUPILS and parents of Fair Oak's Stoke Park Junior and Infants have a safer route to school.
Hampshire County Council has opened a £40,000 Toucan crossing on the busy Alan Drayton Way. It can be used by both pedestrians and cyclists.
The crossing has tactile paving and audible warnings for the visually impaired, along with flush kerbs for wheelchairs, pushchairs and the less mobile.
