A PENSIONER was attacked as he walked home from a Southampton drop-in centre.
The victim, aged 70, was punched in the face as he walked home after attending The Natterbox centre in Thornhill on Thursday evening.
Police are treating the incident, which happened in Marston Road, Thornhill, around 9.15pm, as an unprovoked attack.
A spokesman for Bitterne police said the victim, who has not been named, suffered a cut lip.
He did not require hospital treatment.
