ESSO has joined forces with RoSPA, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, to offer small firms and organisations in Hampshire the opportunity to improve their health and safety management with a safety scholarship.
Employers are required to appoint at least one competent person to help in health and safety duties but this can be expensive for small firms.
The £30,000 scholarship funded by Esso could help.
