Weights suffered for a TVAC club match held on the River Blackwater and Cadnam river.

Rob Hendry's bonus chub of 2lb 5oz made all the difference as he only had two dace for 1oz to go with it which gave him a winning weight of 2lb 6oz from peg 1 on Graddige.

Andy West finished second with 1lb 12oz of small dace and roach from the Cadnam river, with John Clark and Andy Palmer tied in third spot with 1lb 6oz of dace and roach.

The club's fixture on Embley Park saw some reasonable weights of silver fish returned to the scales, although the top weights came from the overflow end of the lake, while those in the shallows struggled.

Andy Palmer caught consistently throughout to end up with 8lb 5oz of roach to 8oz taken on waggler and maggot over pinkie.

John Clark was second with 7lb 6oz of roach on the waggler and maggot, with John Foot third with 5lb which included a 4lb tench on the pole. Norman Hayter placed fourth with 4lb 7oz of silver fish.

Yet another Ringwood & District AC fixture destined for the rivers was transferred to the still waters with the club's latest fixture being held on Paul Miller's Whitemoor Lakes.

Tim Bawn, enjoying his best ever season on the match circuit, took 7lb 8oz of skimmers on the pole at 12 metres over ground bait from peg 29. He was fishing a mixture of maggot, caster and worm to shade John Legg who weighed in 7lb 5oz of skimmers with Stuart Freeman third with 6lb 8oz. Others: M Bartlett 6lb 3oz, P Hutchinson 5lb 6oz, P Miller 4lb 2oz.
