CIVIC officials in Eastleigh want to know if people are aware of green commuter plans in a bid to reduce car travel to work.
At the borough's Eastleigh local area committee, Peter Luffman, said the council was increasingly asking applicants to produce green commuter plans when giving permission for developments.
He added: "Although I have voted for quite a few of them, I haven't had any information to see if it is working. We ought to be having feedback."
Chairman Steve Sollitt said: "To see if anyone pays any attention to green commuter plans would be valuable."
