Following last week's win against top-of-the-table Havant, confident Trojans ladies gained another win, 1-0 against Southamptin II.
The first half midfield battle produced few chances for either side.
But, after half-time, a change of formation meant Trojans added an extra forward to the attack. A stunning free hit from Karen Winkle to the mid-field, threaded through to Roz Bray up front, was slotted into the right hand corner with minutes to spare.
Southampton stepped up a gear, but Trojans defence held strong.
