HOCKEY:Second-placed Hamble Old Boys consolidated their position towards the top of Hampshire Division 1, despite being held 1-1 draw at home to Wimborne.
Hamble, only two points behind the leaders with a game in hand, allowed a number of good chances to go begging in a tight and physical encounter.
Mark Wakefield eventually scored for the Old Boys with a crisp finish after a broken down short-corner.
Wimborne equalised midway through the second half with their only real shot on target.
