BURGLARS got away with loose cash amounting to £100 after breaking into King's School in Allington Lane, Fair Oak.
The intruders forced the door to an assembly room in an outside classroom and broke down an adjoining door to the woodwork room.
They selected hand tools and got into the main building and then searched drawers and desks.
As well as the cash they took a screwdriver and a woodworker's hammer, total value £20.
Other tools were left abandoned in the playground.
