POLICE are warning children not to take pills stolen from a car in Gosport.
The anti-depressant propenol tablets were in a brown bottle taken from a car on Western Way, yesterday.
The car was parked close to Bay House Secondary School and it is feared the medicine could fall into the hands of pupils.
Inspector Tony Tipping, of Gosport police, said: "These pills are very dangerous if taken by children.
"They are anti-depressants prescribed for adults, but could even kill a child.''
Anyone finding the pills is asked to contact police or hand them into the nearest police station as soon as possible
