Gigs in the Southampton region this week
* IF you fancy a bit of old school tonight, then pop down to The Joiners, St Mary's Street for a taste of Hammy. DJ Hammy's Supersonic kicks off at about 10pm and should include all the familiar favourites (A Team etc..).
* THE excellent Tenner come to The Joiners Arms, Southampton on January 26. The Welsh combo will be followed the next day by blues veteran Bob Pearce.
* DON'T forget that American soulster Curtis Stigers is at The Brook, Portswood on January 29.
* COSMIC ROUGH RIDERS play the Joiners Arms on January 30 armed with their Demo Box. The band is signed to former Creation Records boss Alan McGee's new label and any band who drops their demo in the Demo Box will have it listened to by Alan himself - so don't forget to leave your contact telephone number!
* AMERICAN rockers Grandaddy play Southampton University on February 3.
