TWO MEN have been arrested by police hunting balaclava-clad robbers who carried out terrifying raids on two Hampshire homes.
The men, both aged 40 and from Southampton, were arrested in a car in the city. Last night they were helping police with their inquiries.
On January 4, two men broke into 58-year-old Lesley Foreman's New Forest cottage at Emery Down, bound and gagged her, and stole a large amount of cash and jewellery.
On Saturday, three raiders burst into the house in Kane's Hill, Southampton, occupied by a couple in their 50s and their 83-year-old mother.
