SCHOOLS in Chandler's Ford and Compton, near Winchester, are receiving artwork from Sainsbury's supermarkets as part of the Sainsbury's Pictures for Schools 2000 programme.
Pupils from Compton Church of England School, and Merdon and Scantabout schools in Chandler's Ford were today being presented with a collection of art reproductions at the Badger Farm Sainsbury's supermarket.
The scheme presents schools with art reproductions for pupils and teachers to enjoy. This year's reproductions include works by David Hockney and Thomas Gainsborough.
