THE ability to produce innovative products to reduce noise and vibration on board boats has resulted in recognition in the British Nautical Awards for Salisbury-based Halyard.
The company reached the finals of the Marine Product category in the awards for its self-adhesive noise insulation material and was a runner-up.
The company, based on the Whaddon Business Park, put forward its new, easy to use material for the award.
The judges were impressed by the self-adhesive backing which makes it easier for boatbuilders to sound-proof engine rooms and bulkheads.
