Stirling Recruitment has reorganised its temporary division and taken on extra staff in Southampton.

The recruitment agency, with a 26 year track-record, expects the move will lead to higher levels of service for both companies in need of personnel and for applicants seeking job opportunities.

The company has split its temporary appointments operation into separate

divisions, handling industrial appointments and office staff.

The industrial division provides warehouse and production operatives, and people for post room staff, or horticultural workers and hospital porters. The office division covers everything from personal assistants to filing clerks. But the company can also provide both permanent and

contract workers.

Manager Patricia Phillips said: "An understanding of current employment trends, backed by our highly motivated and friendly team provides the ideal solution to our clients' and candidates' recruitment needs.''

Its two new staff members are Susan Smallbone, 22, office co-ordinator and Matthew Poole, 24, commercial temporaries consultant. Susan becomes the first point of contact for both clients and candidates. She previously worked with Hampshire Police.

Matthew has been appointed commercial temporaries consultant.

Patricia Phillips said: "These new recruits will strengthen and support the existing team who are all members of the Recruitment Employment Confederation and are highly-trained to provide a service that is tailored to the specific requirements of each customer.''
