Winchester Prison has continued to receive detained foreign asylum seekers, with more expected over the next few days.
The jail has taken three men from Romania, two from Pakistan, one from China, two from Sri Lanka, one from Nigeria, one from Kosovo and two from Zimbabwe.
Up to 50 will eventually be housed in the remand wing at Winchester under a controversial government scheme to place 500 asylum seekers in eight prisons across the UK.
It is understood that all of the men are set to be deported from the country soon.
