A BUS shelter is to get a makeover ahead of its new job serving residents in Bishop's Waltham.
The old shelter was removed from a site in Claylands Road and replaced by a new version, but now it is to be installed in Ashton Lane.
Residents of the 50 homes in neighbouring Ashton Close have had to wait six months for a final decision over whether to put in a shelter because of problems finding out who owned a hedge on the planned site.
But now the parish council has found out Hampshire County Council is responsible for the hedge, so the shelter on the corner of Ashton Lane and Winchester Road can go ahead.
