DETECTIVES are scouring video tape in their search for the killer of a Hampshire man whose body was found buried in a Hampshire woodland picnic site.
Lee Horrell, 24, died in an horrific attack some time after Saturday, November 11, when he was last seen parked in his white Ford Escort van at Hilsea Lido, Portsmouth.
His body was found on December 27 in a shallow grave in Wickham, near Fareham.
Police launched a murder inquiry and have appealed for help in tracing the van's movements after a similar vehicle was found burned out at Standard Way Industrial Estate, Fareham.
The CCTV video tape was taken from the industrial estate and could show who was responsible for the van being destroyed and possibly who killed Mr Horrell. Police can be contacted on 0845 0454545.
