RACING driver James Kaye dropped into the Chantry Centre in Andover to help promote a new Andover-based charity website.

James Kaye, who drivers Honda Accord in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), was at Race Dynamics with two models wearing suits that had recently been purchased by the Chantry Centre based company.

The website, www.rainbowauctions.freeservers.com publicises auctions of motorsport equipment which are held at a variety of popular across the country. The items for sale by Rainbow Auctions are all donated and money raised goes to charities.

"This year we are to raise funds for two main charities," said Bill Williams of Rainbow Auctions.

"Baby Life Support Systems will use our funds to purchase equipment for special care baby units all over the country and provide funds to train nurses in caring for these tiny babies. We are also raising money for NARA - a national charity that provides equipment for children and adults that suffer breathing problems."

In less than a week the new website has had more than 400 'hits'. The BTCC can be enjoyed at Thruxton and James can be seen in action in his car at the local circuit in May.
