LEE-ON-SOLENT slumped to the bottom of their group in the SRA National Squash League after crashing 5-0 to basement rivals UniSport Guildford.

The Surrey side's morale-boosting win over Lee in Group B came courtesy of the first appearance of their full-strength squad this season.

Gloucester's Fiona Geaves registered a rare women's string success for the club in a 9-0, 9-5, 9-1 win over Lindsey Parker. Number one Paul Johnson maintained his 100 per cent season record with a 9-6, 11-13, 13-11, 9-7 victory over Lee's Bradley Ball.

Cambridge maintained a slender lead in the southern Group B, despite a 4-1 drubbing by Team Chichester.

Chichester's Peter Genever, playing in his first league match since winning the Finnish Open just before Christmas, led his Sussex club to an important 4-1 home victory over Group B leaders Cambridge to move up the third place.
