ATHERLEY B felt the full force of East Dorset's power in their Famous Grouse Four Nations Top Ten Classic Group I confrontation.
The Christchurch club rattled up a 15-0 whitewash, Atherley's best hope of consolation points being in the triples where Steve Cleverley, Peter Rathband and skip Peter Line built a 12-7 lead on 11 ends only to fall eventually 22-14 to Nicky Jones.
The fours also had its brighter moments for Atherley with Dave Bishop, Jim Barrett, Dink Mintrum and skip Mick Spreadbury on 15 shots apiece after 16 ends until dropping a disastrous five that allowed Nicky Smith to go on and win 21-18.
Dave Archibald lost the singles 21-13 to Chris Martin and Pete Gange and Ray Sutton were outclassed 38-12 in the pairs by Dean Morgan and Julian Haines.
The other two matches also finished 15-0 with leaders Exonia thrashing Victory B and Moonfleet doing likewise to Dolphin A.
