TWO of the Forest's FA Vase challengers moved into the fourth round on Saturday.

Brockenhurst are through to the last 32 for the first time in their history after thrashing Biggleswade Town 5-2.

The Spartan South Midlands Premier side took the lead against the run of play but Brock hit back with two quick goals from Richard Cort and Phil Stone. Brock were 4-1 up at half time thanks to goals from Mark Jones and Stone. Thomson made it 5-1 in the 76th minute before the home side's Mark Carter scored a long-range consolation goal.

Totton saw off fancied Ryman League Division Two side Horsham 3-1 at Testwood Park.

Kevin Reacord scored after just two minutes following some good work by Roger Maynard. It was Maynard who also created the second. His 43rd minute cross found an unmarked Aaron Cunningham who finished with ease.

Horsham rallied in the second half and rattled the Totton crossbar before Clinton Moore put them back in the match with a headed goal on 72 minutes.

Totton keeper Matt Smart then produced a string of fine saves before Reacord killed off the Sussex side with an injury time goal on the break.

Lymington and New Milton who looked to be cruising into the next round of the F.A. Vase with a 3-1 lead and only a quarter of an hour left to play, inexplicably crumbled to a 4-3 defeat against Bedfordshire side Stopfold at Fawcetts Field last Saturday. Full credit to Stopfold who never gave in and nippy forwards who gave the home side a torrid afternoon. Their strength however was in midfield, they always had the extra man to win the ball, and playing to their wingers they always had the Linnets defence at full stretch. Steve Strong scored a hat-trick for Lymington and New Milton and must feel gutted to finish on the losing side.
