BROADLANDS has proved difficult due to the floods but Ivan Perry of Gosport braved the conditions for six pike to 15lb 7oz on float fished trout from the sunken tree on the Inlet Bay.

John Gibbons of Portsmouth took 11 bream, three tench and a carp for a 60lb mixed haul from peg 30 on the Lower Lake fishing worm and method feeder.

Anglers are continuing to have some good sport on Longbridge, with Cormorants AC members Dave Sharp and Mick Small enjoying good sessions. Sharp from Eastleigh fished waggler from peg 29 for seven tench to 5lb, two carp to 7lb, five bream to 4lb 2oz and 35 quality skimmers in a 70lb bag.

Small from Harefield fished corn on the pole for a mixed bag from peg 27 which included tench to 5lb 8oz, bream to 4lb and roach to 1lb. On the carp front, Dean Humphreys of Portsmouth fished peg 21 for six fish including double of 15lb 6oz, 14lb 3oz, 11lb 8oz and 11lb on feeder and pellet during midday to 4.00pm.

Monks Lake on Dave Wateridge's Waldens Farm complex has been in good form, with John Britten of Andover taking a cracking 3lb 2oz perch from peg 5 in the reed swim on float-fished worm, along with a 9lb 8oz ghost carp.

Jon Burch's Round Pond on his Longhouse Lakes complex saw Mark Davies of Devizes bag up overnight with roach to 12oz, rudd to 1lb 2oz, a specimen 3lb 2oz perch plus 11 crucians and 17 tench topped by a 6lb 4oz fish in a 67lb bag taken on waggler and maggot over hemp and pellets from peg 3.
