HITTING all the high notes - that's 13-year-old singing star Lianne Marie Birkett who says she wants to be famous.
The Sholing Girls' School pupil became one of the youngest entertainers to win a round of the Les Perry regional karaoke contest when she beat off the challenge of 14 other singers in a competition at the Merry Oak Hotel, Southampton.
Now, she has a date at London's Cockpit Theatre on November 25 where she will line up with 31 finalists.
The overall winner will get a recording contract plus a showcase spot at the Astoria the following day.
Lianne Marie, who performed the Whitney Houston classic, Saving All My Love For You, said: "I was really shocked - I could not believe it."
The youngster, of Cranbury Road, Sholing added: "It's something I've always wanted to do and I've got my chance now."
