A HAMPSHIRE village is set to receive £2,000 towards the cost of re-hanging its church's six bells.
The £21,000 millennium project at Kings Somborne, near Winchester, has ended up with a £5,000 shortfall.
This is despite fundraising and a £1,000 contribution from the parish council.
Hampshire County Council will vote tomorrow on a £2,000 grant for the scheme.
