THE HUSBAND of a lucky reader will get a trip to see his mum after she scooped a cash prize in the Daily Echo's Find The Ball competition.
Adam Swain, 64, of Holbury Drove, Holbury, has not been back to the South Atlantic island of Tristan da Cunha in 12 years. Now, he can book his ticket.
His wife Gwen, 68, won £2,600 as a runner-up in the contest.
She said: "It's fantastic. My husband would love to go and see his mother."
The jackpot for tomorrow's competition stands at a massive £44,000 with a runner-up prize of £2,700.
Find The Ball appears in four Newsquest titles each week. Last year more than £275,000 was paid out in prize money.
