FOUR of Hampshire's most promising young tennis players will compete against their neighbouring counties to try to prove themselves the best in the South East on Sunday in the area finals of the Robinsons Aces Challenge - the national under-10 tennis tournament.

A win in the final round of this competition, held at Sutton Junior Tennis Centre, will take the youngsters to the famous courts of Wimbledon where they will be given an exclusive opportunity to play with Britain's number one Tim Henman.

Craig Veal and Jake Macey from Southampton represent Hampshire in the boys final, while Laura Sliney from Fleet and Sophie Clarke from Southsea will take on their opponents in the girls final.

This tournament, run in conjunction with the LTA, has attracted nearly 10,000 youngsters, giving many of them their first competitive experience in the sport.
