A TEAM of students who produce a newspaper for their school have been given a boost.

The enthusiastic journalists and sub-editors at Priestlands School in Lymington have been given a brand new PC to help them produce their newspaper called In the News.

The computer - donated by Southern Water - will mean the pupils have access to their own machine throughout the week.

The newspaper has constantly improved in quality, size and circulation since it began two years ago and almost 2,000 copies are produced and distributed free to students, local residents associations and local businesses.

Editor and Year 8 student Ryan Doran said: "This is a real opportunity to improve the quality of our school newspaper. We are very grateful to Southern Water."
