Saints will be in the navy again next season. They club have confirmed they are to keep their current away kit for the next 18 months.
Retail development executive James McLaughlin made the announcement to quell rumours that the away strip might be changed at the end of the season.
He said: "We have heard that some parents had been holding back on buying the away kit for Christmas because they were worried that it might be ditched in May but that is definitely not the case.
"Both strips will run through until we move to the new stadium in August, 2001 and we will change both for the momentous occasion.
"The navy shirt has been very popular as a leisure item as well as football shirt and we have no intention of getting rid of it so parents can buy it knowing it won't be out of date as soon as they have paid out."
The Saints Shop at The Dell will be getting a big bulk delivery of stock this week for fans to buy last-minute gifts. But that won't include away shorts, which now won't be in before Christmas.
