YOUNG cast members at Southampton's Nuffield Theatre have been acting like little animals (well behaved ones of course!)as they prepare to stage The Wind in the Willows.
More than 30 youngsters from across Southampton will take part in the Christmas show following successful auditions earlier this year.
The group have just finished their first week of rehearsals with the Nuffield Theatre Company.
The classic story of Mole and Water Rat's adventures in Wild Wood will hit the stage from December 2 until January 15.
Written in the 19th century by Kenneth Grahame, the enduring tale remains a popular classic enchanting audiences young and old.
The creative team behind The John Wayne Principle and Twelfth Knight - director Patrick Sandford, designer Ti Green and lighting designer David W Kidd - have got back together to bring the show to life.
